After being burnt by hot water on both thighs and being bedridden for several months, WATER WITH OUT WATER paints a 2 months walking performance through the Alps and the Carpathians mountains in search of water sources in order to heal myself from the water-trauma. This 1500km drift brought me to experience a Europe on the fringes of the plains - away from butter and honey ; guided by water sources, torrents, streams, rivers and flows that showed me the paths to immerse myself into the inner-river that flows inside my body and soul, a way to find my own phase that would correlate with Nature around me.

These film notes began on March 24, 2019, Marseille, Paris, Zürich, from the source of the Inn to the Maloja pass, Upper Engadine following the stream to Innsbruck, then up the Sill towards Bressanone and the Rienza towards Dobbiaco - crossing the Dolomites to Cortina. Follow rivers and streams towards Trieste. From there, go up to the eastern plateau via the Carst towards Lubjana and again north to Ratece, return even further north through the Mountains via Bad Gastein - follow the new source, find the Inn as far as the Salzburg plain. From there, witness the confluence of the Inn, Danube and Ilz at Passau. Of this end of the road, go to the Eastern Carpathians - the Rodna mountains via the Col de Setref, head south via the ridges and the path of the bears. There, get lost in the source of the Repedea - in phase in itself.
